Bike packing using Velomobile

Image
https://youtu.be/Pi9BO8BbKq8 That is why I am most interested in Velomobiles. They are most suitable for bike packing. Even touring. You can sleep inside the bicycle. Why not a car? Velomobile is a bicycle. It can go to places that cars cannot go.

How to solve bicycle theft, Vancouver

How to solve bicycle theft. I had my bicycle stolen while studying in UK. It was just a cheap second hand bicycle. The monetary loss was minor but I was discouraged from owning a bicycle. The solution is simple: 1. Register your bicycle 2. Make a police report I did not do any of those things. I should start now. We all should start now. https ://youtu.be/48V9Xtpgq9I

Simplest but complete upgrading of cup and cone to sealed bearing

Image
I have just finished upgrading my crankset and bottom bracket. The old square spindle iron crankset weighs 1,400 g. The replacement aluminium crankset weighs 800 g, savings 600g. The cup and cone uses an anxle with removable bearings. Mine does not function properly because it makes noises. It turns smoothly by not tightening the holding nuts too much. You don't need special tools to open the holding nuts. For old bicycles that were never opened up for more than 10 years, better put antirust spray, WD40, and leave it overnight. I tried to open as many screws as possible. Those that require too much effort, I sprayed first. Usually I just waited for a few minutes. When I leave the antirust oil overnight, all the screws were easily opened. I did not open all, afraid that the bearings will be lost. I just used lithium grease spray.  When I dismantled today, Zthe bearings are actually cased. However, the bearings were well greased. When I replaced the bottom bracket with the sealed car
